Back Pain Chiropractor

Chiropractic care is often very effective for back pain, which is incredibly common. Up to 84% of adults report having back pain some time during their lives and about 39% of U.S. adults report back pain in any given three-month window. In addition, approximately up to 28% of adults suffer from long-term or chronic low back pain.

Poor posture, esp. while sitting, sedentary lifestyle, weak abdominal and back muscles, and tight hamstrings and hip flexor muscles contribute to back pain. Spinal misalignment and sacroiliac joints that lack mobility contribute to the causes of back pain. The facet joint capsules can become caught between the facet joints, which can result in severe back pain and these facet joints can be manipulated by your chiropractor. Inflammation is associated with much back pain and chiropractic care is often able to modulate inflammation levels.

Chiropractic manipulation is one of the few proven effective treatments for back pain while decompression therapy has not been shown to be effective in research studies. Our office combines specialized soft tissue/massage work along with manipulation and some additional therapy, often interferential therapy and heat alternated with ice.

Neck Pain Chiropractor

Neck pain is the second most common complaint that someone sees a chiropractor for and chiropractic care is remarkably effective for neck pain and tightness.
